So my parents came in on Friday to stay for the weekend! Unfortunately, when we woke up on Saturday it was already 80 degrees in the house at 7:36 a.m. They decided to go back to Hallsville after our family reunion, which is understandable. Here's a picture of my indoor/outdoor thermometer. Lovely huh?

Thankfully, Darren's parents were gracious enough to let us stay with them on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night. I got a lot of knitting done and I also made a pin cushion! It was super easy!
I'm just thankful to be sleeping in my own bed in my own house again. I'm such a home-body :)
